Mollusca knows how to craft a great song: the five musicians infuse catchy pop hits with a rock-infused sound. The pop-rock of this emerging band from Baden is both danceable and high-energy, while not missing out on emotional depth. In Mollusca’s lyrics, singer-songwriter Rahel Müller authentically narrates stories from her personal life, stories that many can relate to. The band celebrates the positive and negative emotions that life offers with grandeur, sparkle, and heartfelt sincerity.

Since their debut in 2021, the band has been touring all over Switzerland, performing at home at the Blues Festival in Baden and at the country’s largest student festival, the ESF in Zurich. Two single releases (“Worry Again” and “song for”) and a lineup change ensued. Despite their constant drive for evolution, Mollusca remains loyal to their hometown. The band is featured in the tourism campaign of the city of Baden in collaboration with myswitzerland. Furthermore, Baden was the setting for a highlight in Mollusca’s young career: at the Badenfahrt 2023, one of Switzerland’s largest events, Mollusca performed on the main stage on Saturday night. The year 2023 culminated in another success for the band: Mollusca secured victory at the regionally acclaimed BandX-northwestern Contest 2023. Looking ahead, 2024 holds immense promise for Mollusca, with plans underway for an album release that’s set to elevate their musical journey to new heights.
